My historical meme is stating that the Era of Good Feelings isn’t exactly what it may seem. During this era, there were no major conflicts between political parties, because the Federalist party had disbanded. The Democratic- Republicans were in power and the era of good feelings ended with the election of 1825. Andrew Jackson won by popular vote, but there was no majority of electoral votes between the candidates, which included John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay. The House of Representatives chose Adams as president, and Adams in turn chose Henry Clay for Secretary of State. This resulted in tension and animosity between the Jackson supporters and Adams/ Clay supporters.

My meme about Alexander Hamilton hits all the levels of Bloom’s taxonomy. It hits the Create level because I took two pictures that were blank and put a caption over it without referencing any other memes similar. The meme shows that I “evaluated” how Hamilton could have reacted towards Jefferson’s thought that his financial solution was a bad idea. I “analyzed” the information about Jefferson’s and Hamilton’s conflict they had with each other and “applied” that to the financial program reaction. The meme also shows that I know about Hamilton’s financial plan and can apply that to different situations.

Well first, of course, CREATE because this was my original idea and I completely constructed it on Meme generator. It also hits EVALUATE because it shows King Georges point of view on the situation which ANALYZES that he was against the ideas of the Olive Branch Petition. I UNDERSTAND the concept of the situation where the colonist basically want ties to be mended with British and APPLIES that with the "can we still be friends tho" quote bubble. Last it obviously pokes on REMEMBER because it brings up actual concepts and facts.
